Hi everyone! Fal here. First of, I would like to say, Happy New Year 2025! Hope we all have an amazing journey in 2025 together!

Not much of announcement here other than the Chapter 1 of my game is finally released! But, figured I'd share my thoughts a little.

As a solo developer without prior knowledge of coding and making game in general, it was very challenging. This project starts in early August 2024, and Chapter 1 finished right at the end of December 2024. I never really learn about making a scene, animating, and etc. before, so it was really interesting to learn those skills.

So why dance related story? Street dance and hip hop to be more precise. Well, because why not? There are plenty of other mediums doing this type of genre before, especially movie/film. And maybe there are plenty of other VN or story telling mediums, who brings this type of genre too before. But so far, I haven't really encounter many of them. So I figured, hey, why not make my own? I've been wanting to make a story for quite a while, but have been putting it off. And now I want to do something different and actually act on it, so here we are.

I've been in the dance scene for quite sometime myself so why not translate that into something else? Maybe the reason why not many games, especially story heavy one about dance,  out there, is because all of the dancer are busy practicing, performing, and competing somewhere. Hahaha. Because you know, the time I spent making Chapter 1 is more or less the same with preparations for performances. It's a long and hard process to get the best result possible.

Hopefully this devlog can give you guys a little insight to the behind the scene of why I decided to create this game. It's my first time writing this type of stuff too, so I'm not sure if this is the right way to do it.
